Sandy's Shop

Hello my lovelies!
Today I am bringing you another review from my sponsor Sandysshop!
Sandysshop is the go to place for tights and leggings. They also sell various styles of clothes. From simple to cute to spooky, all at reasonable prices, you are bound to find some thing you like

You can use the code CULTFAWN for 10% off your order!

My order:
My order also contained a little piece of candy attached to the business card. Yummy!

Shipping:
The package was sent on the 17th of October and arrived after exactly 6 business days later on the 27th. That's super fast. It was sealed in a yellow paper envelop. The products were wrapped individually for protection and there was no damage in transit. Sandyshop's shipping service did not disappoint!

Lace Bow Side Knee High Socks - Super cute, light and stretchy. They are a light grey, with a cute heart pattern and sit nicely at my knees. They feel perfectly secure, nothing worse than knee highs with loose elastic. The lace can be folded down or sit over your knee. It is attached to the sock with good stitching that doesn't restrict the stretch of the sock itself. The bow is a similar lace with a loose shape and it is fastened to the sock. They are really comfortable. They are not as thick as they look which means I will still be able to wear them in the warmer weather.

Luna Cat Sailor Moon Tights - These are faux thigh high tights with kitty theme. Not just any kitty though, it's Luna from Sailor Moon! The top of the tights, the gusset, are sheer, then starting at the mid thigh they are black to give the look of wearing thigh highs rather than tights. Luna's face decorates the front of your thigh while there is a tail at the back. I am a Sailor Moon nut and if you are too you are going to love them too. However, I would not recommend them for someone who is taller than me. I am around 5'8 (173cm) and these tights are recommended for a height of 165cm max. I really wanted them regardless and thought it was worth risking it. They fit perfectly fine but I would not recommend them for anyone taller than me.

Harajuku Doll Joint Tights - I've seen a lot of images of people wearing ball jointed doll (bjd) tights floating around the internet and knew I wanted a pair. I was delighted to find Sandysshop was selling them. They are white tights, thick and sturdy material. The print makes your legs look like it has hinges at your joints and give the spooky look of doll limbs. The joints sit at your ankles, knees and right up to the top of your thigh. They do take a bit of adjusting to make sure the joints sit in the right places and the print doesn't look too stretched, only when you first put them on, so be prepared for that but it really is no fuss to do. They have a gusset with a set back and front side so you know which way they sit and they have a little extra stretch for your tush. They are comfortable and look wicked when you wear them, great to add a bit of spooky to your casual or to add some oomph to a costume. Again I would advise anyone taller than me to be wary of the size, these are also 165cm max.

Overall:
A really great order. I love every piece. They are comfortable, good quality and I know I will get lots of use out of them. Sandysshop is well organised, goods are presented with all the size information and they ship as quick as possible. Sandy always provides a great service. She is easy to talk to over email, she replies very quickly so you don't have to wait long to hear back from her. Don't hesitate to send her any queries you have about her products and her store.

A big thank you for reading and to Sandysshop for giving me another opportunity to review their awesome store!

What's in my bag?

BOUGHT: HERE~
on Aliexpress
I've been holding out for a new bag, this one had caught my eye ages ago. It sold out however, very quickly. I hoped the seller would restock but never did. It wasn't until recently when I got frustrated with the size of the everyday handbag I was using that I started to look for one again. This is my first time buying from Aliexpress.

Shipping: Free
It arrived in a grey envelope, inside a plastic wrap. The buckles had been padded and the strap wrapped up. In two days it was processed then shipped. It took 10 days to reach me after it had been posted. It was in perfect condition when it arrive. Super happy with the shipping service.

Price/Item/Quality: $17.50
I am really happy with what I got. It is the perfect size for an everyday bag. My biggest worry was the material. The photos showed PU leather but the product description described it as canvas. I wanted PU and hoped that the description had been mistaken. Happy days, it is made of PU leather. The inside is lined with a canvas like material though.

(Hard to see in above picture) The bag has one main pocket, that is separated by a panel which divides it into two, one pocket can secure shut with a snap button which connects to the separating panel. In side the secured pocket there is a zip pouch and a small open pocket. The spotted panel of leather is also a flap concealing another major pocket to stash your goodies in, secured shut with a button. I'd advise using only this pocket or the main pocket for the things you use most, like wallet and keys. It can be easy to leave either open and you might risk having things fall out.

Don't let the compact size of the bag fool you. It can actually pack quite a bit. This is what I carry with me most days, plus extra things like keys and sunglasses. It holds them all well with room to spare most days. It is light, doesn't add weight to what you are carrying, unlike the old bag I was using. The shoulder strap sits comfortably and doesn't strain me when I carry it for long periods of time.

I carry detol hand sanitiser, Tony Moly: Mini Bunny hand cream, Tony Moly: Moist Mist face spray, my blue phone/money wallet, compact notebook, Tony Moly: Bunny lip glosses, Paul Frank Lip Smackers, Nivea: Lip Repair balm and my strawberry chocolate comb.

Overall:
I use this bag every day. I really love it. A bargain for that price. Now that I have had this good experience I think I can feel more confident about shopping on Aliexpress (so long as sellers have a good rep, of course). I would recommend anyone to buy this bag, from this seller. They were fast to ship and it really is a great bag.

Much love ~

☽ † Glitterhell Decarabia Sweater Review † ☾

☽ † Glitterhell Decarabia Sweater Review † ☾

Bought from: Sugar Coated Sprinkles (Storenvy / Etsy)
Originally from: Glitterhell

Price: $36
The item is secondhand, only worn once. It was lovely and clean when I got it. The original price from Glitterhell is $40. I have been dying for one of these ever since I laid eyes on it but I always miss out on restocks at Glitterhell because they sell out so quickly and I'm probably in the worst possible timezone to try and get one. I think for the quality, the original design that both prices are fair to ask.

Shipping: $5.40
Shipped from the UK to me in Australia. Shipped three days after I paid for it, it took about 2 weeks to get to me. I think the price of shipping is really reasonable. It arrived in a yellow envelope that was lined with bubble wrap so it was nice and safe, however the tape that had secured the opening, even though it was adorable Rilakkuma tape,  had come loose so when I got it the sweater was poking out. Luckily it didn't get dirty or damaged so I'm happy.

Item:
It is a basic sweater from American Apparel with a gorgeous design printed on to it. The sweater is a lot lighter than I was expecting, thinner too but a scorching Summer is on the way so that's a good thing. It is so comfortable, the sleeves are so long yet it is the perfect size. I don't like sweaters with sleeves that don't reach past my wrists! So this is the perfect style of sweater for me.

Communication:
Rachel from Sugar Coated Sprinkles was so very helpful. I pestered her with so many questions but she answered all of them politely and quickly. I bought the sweater from her Storenvy store but used Etsy to get in contact with her. She was a delight to buy from.

Extras:
Along with the sweater there was a cute little business card and a cherry lolly, that I ate while I was panicking about bush fires. While I didn't stop panicking it did taste good.

Overall:
Glitterhell has amazing products and I am over the moon I managed to get my hands on one of their things. I've got my eye on a few shirts too. Hopefully I will be able to grab some in the next restock! Sugar Coated Sprinkles made it possible this time and I'm so thankful. She has wonderful handmade products too! Both are top notch businesses who should be proud of their wonderful products ^.^

Check out Sugar Coated Sprinkles and Glitterhell for great creepy cute & pastel goth products~

Cat Ear Bowler Hat Review

I’m sorry for the quality of the photos I only have my phone for a camera and so I use instagram as a shortcut to edit them. Also this was an order and review I did back in early July 2013 before I had this blog. This is not a sponsored review

(No longer available where I purchased)

Price: $6.99

Shipping: Free.
It arrived pretty quick after being shipped the day after I paid for it. However, considering it is a shaped bowler style hat, it was not packed very well. When it arrived it was squashed into a plastic bag. I’m lucky my mum was once a milliner so I could borrow her hat blocks and steamer and reshape it properly. I think even if I didn’t have access to that it would shape just fine with wear, it just would take longer and be more fiddly.

Item:
I think it’s really cute! I’m more of a beanie person but I really like this little hat. It’s made of wool, could probably be stretched a little if you have the means and you want it a little bigger. It’s of decent quality and should last me a while.

Size: I was worried it wouldn’t fit my big noggin but it does just fine.

Overall: I am delighted with my purchase, I think I will get lots of wear out of it and it’s a very cute little piece. Though I do warn people that you may struggle to get it shaped nicely after it’s been squished in the mail :c

Thanks for reading
