Meet Marie ♥

I've been saving up for a new Alpacasso to join our little family. As soon as I saw the eden series I knew she was the one. I have two pink boys, Toulouse, from the earmuff series, and Berlioz, from the gorgeous series.

Anime-Dolphin sells a range of plushes and merchandise, mostly related to Japanese animation. They have cute ghibli, pokemon and disney collections plus lots of other series.

When she arrived she was packed into a padded, yellow, paper envelope. In that she was sealed in a plastic bag. A little squished as you can see but being a plushie, it just took a few squishes to get her back into shape. She arrived a lot sooner than I thought she would. She was posted within 24 hours after payment, on the 15th of April. Estimated delivery was for the 30th of April but she arrived on the 24th. That is almost a week early, so I was pleasantly surprised when she arrived.

Item/Quality/Price: $39.99

She is a white, female, 17 cm Eden Series Alpacasso. She has little pink cheeks and stitched eyelashes. She has an amuse alpacasso tag on her tummy towards her back leg.

My main concern in purchasing her was that she was going to be a bad knockoff. If she is a knock off, the difference seems very minor to me, she is a very good one. I don't know if she is or isn't a genuine Alpacasso. She does have a label, and a tag, however the only thing that makes me suspicious she is not a genuine one is her label is not an 'eden series' label. I'm no Alpacasso expert so it's only a suspicion. Everything else to me screams genuine. She is a really good quality plush, knock off or not.

I was hoping for a genuine one, but the places where I know to get them had sold out of the eden series. So I took a chance on Anime-Dolphin and I love what I got.

Overall:

I love her to bits. She will get lots of cuddles and fits in wonderfully with Toulouse and Berlioz. I would advise anyone of thinking to buy from Anime-Dolphin, look at the store through the american eBay site. Her Australian site has a lot less available, this product isn't even listed in her Australian store. If you do this there will be price differences, better keep an eye out for that :)

Zipper Mouth Sweater - eBay Review

Shipping: 

It was free, it was marked as shipped the day after I bought it on the 21st of May. It arrived 3 days before the estimated time, on the 4th of June c: So thats 2 weeks exactly. It arrived undamaged and in good basic packaging.

Size: 

I got an XL, I read the measurements and knew this was not going to be huge on me (I’m a smaller size generally). So as you can see above sadly it is asian sizing and not made for western bodies. Still it’s a fine fit for me.

Item: 

It’s a really soft and cuddly cotton blend, I really love it. It’s perfect for winter. Very comfortable. The Zip is sturdy and will put up with me constantly zipping and unzipping. The design is so adorable from the big blue eyes down to the little ears on the shoulders.

Overall: 

Love it. Totally worth it, how could you say no at $11? It’s quality is incredible for that price.

Deer & Cross Distressed Sweater Review - eBay Purchase

I’ve been wanting one for a while. Was just holding off while I was waiting for other things to arrive. I finally bought it though

It was marked as posted the day after I paid for it. It arrived about 2-3 days earlier than the estimated time of delivery which is a bonus in my books. 

Item: 

It is a light weight jumper, slightly sheer. Be careful of pulling threads, however luckily it is a distressed jumper so you can pass off any holes you make as part of the design (I haven’t made any holes yet though :p). I believe it is a wildfox couture knock off, that doesn’t bother me so much. No way was I going to pay $230 or whatever for a distressed sweater…sorry. Though I imagine if you were to pay $230 you would get a more sturdy garment. This one feels fragile, like I said before beware of pulling threads and keep it in mind when you wash it. I have slept in this, it held up fine through that which surprised me so maybe it’s more durable than I think.

I really like this garment overall. My only concern is durability. I wasn’t expecting great quality, knowing it was probably just a knock off, so I am quite content with what I got for $16.

This was the cheapest I could find from a seller with good feedback (98.5%) on eBay. I tried to buy a few months ago from a seller I have bought from before, a reliable seller, but they contacted me saying after they had tried to send it to me their customs officer had returned it to them because it had a hole in the packaging and the garment was damaged. They couldn’t send a replacement because they felt the new tops they had got in were not the same as the one they had tried to send me, the color was different. They actually advised me not to buy it from them because they disliked the color so much. They refunded me and I was worried I wouldn’t have the sweater I wanted.

I was reluctant from buying from any other seller on eBay, there were cheaper sweaters but their images either didn’t look the right color or their feedback was a bit too iffy in my opinion. I really wanted the violet, I’ve been wanting this sweater for ages but some of them were listed as light blue and used both the light blue color and violet color in their pictures.

Bargain~ It arrived nice and compact, wrapped well with no damage in transit.

Communication: 

Was actually really good for a sale I didn’t even need to contact them for. They sent me a personal email once it had been shipped with an estimated delivery time and a few days after I received the item they sent another one asking if I had received my item yet.

Item: 

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the item. I was suspecting it to be delicate like the similar style distressed deer sweater I reviewed a while ago. It is made of a stretchier, more sturdy material. It’s still slightly sheer, the fibre has a metallic sheen to it and the color is exactly what I wanted. I am really happy with this purchase.

Overall: 

100% satisfied. Would buy from this seller on eBay with no hesitation again.

Shipping: $6.50. 
Arrived reasonably quickly and packed in protective bubblewrap so it was safe in transit and got to me in one piece.

Item: 
It’s exactly as described. I definitely got what I paid for, fits my phone well. Though the little pom poms have a habit of collecting lint. It is really cute though and well made.

Price: 
Well it was an auction and I think I got it for the starting price, no one else bid. $11.99. So all up it cost me $18.99. For a decoden case that’s not so bad.

Communication: 
I’m only putting this down because I did have a problem with this. I accidentally ordered the wrong size case in the same design. I contacted them to see if I could cancel my order and got  a really confusing response. I contacted them again and got no response at all. I put it down to a language barrier. So I bought and paid for this case and had to leave the other one unpaid for. Sadly that meant a decrease in my buyer feedback for an unpaid item. My fault for not making sure I was buying the right item, but still communication was lacking.
