Brave Store Tights Order Review

 Go to Brave Store

I’m sorry for the quality of the photos I only have my phone for a camera and so I use instagram as a shortcut to edit them. Also this was an order and review I did back in early April before I had this blog. This is not a sponsored review

Where Purchased:

About Brave:
Brave is a store from the Storenvy market place. Run by the wonderful Jane from Melbourne, Australia. She is a reseller of Chinese, Korean and Japanese apparel and accessories. She ships both directly from her suppliers in Hong Kong as well as from Melbourne. Brave was the first store I bought from on Storenvy, with a long complicated tale I will tell another day. However I will say in advance she is always a pleasure to buy from.

Shipping:
Was $6 for everything. Items were shipped separately as they were from different suppliers and there for arrived separately. They arrived reasonably consecutively, one after the other day after day until the last pair. They had been sent much later than the rest and may have been a little delayed but there was a nice apology note from the supplier.

These were the first to arrive. They are footless and made of a stretchy material. They are very comfortable for me, not too tight and not too loose. I usually have to wear something over the top, I am a firm believer in ‘tights/leggings are not pants’ so I wear long sweaters, shirts, skirts or dresses over them. It also helps because of the material and make they have a tendency to fall down a little as you wear them exposing le butt crack. So wearing something like bike shorts or even underwear over the top means you don’t have to keep pulling them up. For the price they are a solid buy.

2nd to arrive. These tights are very cute and have gotten me lots of compliments. They fit well but need some adjusting to get the print looking nice and not stretched. The clouds tend to sit more on my shins than my knees, not sure if thats the design or because I’m tall. I have a ladder in the crotch but that’s okay because no one will see it.

3rd to arrive. Very fun, I really like wearing these. The print sits really well. There isn’t print the whole way around the leg, just the front which I actually like. People have thought they are tattoos when I’ve worn them. Sadly I got a ladder in the first wear, but that’s nylon for you.

Last to arrive. Love them, the print is so adorable and part of me now wants to get a traditional Alice in Wonderland illustration tattooed somewhere on my bod. Again people have thought these were real tattoos.

Overall:
I love all these items, I am happy I bought them. Sadly, as most tights are, the nude tattoo tights are delicate. Thanks to planned obsolescence, two of my tights have ladders in them after a couple of wears. One in an inconspicuous place the other is much more visible. I don’t mind buying more when they get too worn so it’s not much of an issue. It’s a you get what you pay for situation, if you are going to keep buying replacements it might be an idea to hunt down cheaper options if you can find any.

Creepy Yeha - Double Strap Heart Garter Review

I bought this garter back in early March. I still adore it but I thought I should post it to this blog for anyone interested in buying from Creepyyeha on storenvy or those curious about the quality.

What is Creepyyeha?:
Creepyyeha is the name of an independent store on the online marketplace, Storenvy. Run by Yeha Leung, every item is hand made by her and made to order before being shipped from New York.

Buy it:
Price:
$42 $35 (One Year Anniversary Sale)

Shipping:
$23.95 (Priority shipping). It arrived very quickly once it had been marked as posted, it took about a week for the order to be processed/crafted. It was packaged well and was not damaged or lost at all.

Pros:
It is exactly as advertised. I bought this on the one year anniversary sale so I got it for $35 instead of the normal $42. It is comfortable, perfectly sized and well made. She was quick to arrive too after being shipped, processing takes a few days. Mine took about a week but that’s understandable given she probably had a lot of orders due to her sale. I love it to death and so pleased I bought it.

Cons:
There are not many in my opinion but I should point out the back strap is made of elastic so it will stretch, even as you walk around. It may need adjusting as you wear because it might have a tendency to slip down. If the elastic becomes too stretched it’s easily fixed if you have the means (I certainly do) so I’m not to worried about that. The only other thing is price, not for the garter itself I actually think that is fair for a hand made leather piece, but shipping kicked the pricing way up to the point I almost did not buy it. The sale was the main reason I caved, I was not going to get it at a lower price anytime soon as far as I knew so it may have been my last chance to get it at that price. Though she does have a first class option instead of priority shipping which may be cheaper.

Extra Comments:
Upon wearing this more I have the advice of wearing good stockings or thigh high socks. Loose elastic in the socks/stockings, that had a tendency to fall down by themselves, seem to drag the garter down with it. However, in the few times I have worn it, so long as the socks are good, the garter has stayed up all day with minimal adjustments needed during that time. Over time it may stretch and become loose but so far it has been great! I have worn it quite a few times and never really been concerned about loss of elasticity in the back strap.

Overall:
I would definitely buy from Creepyyeha again, she has a great thing going for her! I don’t see any need to buy the same item again unless I decide I want twin garters or something happens to this one but there are plenty of other things I’d love to own. My only draw back is that I live in Australia and the international shipping is a hefty add on to the main price. However I adore pretty much everything I see in her shop. I think her work is fantastic.
